is a social enterprise that aims to empower individuals and families from less privileged communities to earn a sustainable income and eradicate urban poverty.

Our Story

The idea behind Foodbike was inspired by the mobility of food trucks that can be relocated to a new location at any time, letting food service providers earn an income.

Just like any business, starting a food truck business would mean having to fork a large sum as an initial capital – something that can be a tall order for the less privileged, significantly when their incomes have been affected throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.

However, we didn’t want these roadblocks to deter their ambition. We asked ourselves, how can the urban poor earn an income without worrying about the technicalities of opening up a business?

We decided on a concept that provides recruits with their own mobile “Foodbike” equipped with everything they need to earn an income.

Our Mission

“Give a man a fish, and you feed him for a day. Teach him how to fish, and you feed him for a lifetime.”

At Foodbike, we empower those in the underprivileged community to earn an income and build a better future for themselves and their families.

With Foodbike, we are set out to accomplish one thing: to curb urban poverty.
